Pascal has over 20 years’ experience in Africa, Asia and South America, gathered working in community development and development research programmes with the French National Scientific Research Centre (CNRS), the World Bank, the French Development Agency (AFD) and mining companies. Pascal combines both field expertise and an up-to-date knowledge of leading issues in the African mining sector. As a researcher of IFSRA, his work is regularly published in scientific journals and reviews, in particular on issues related to land rights, mining sector in Africa, natural resource management and decision-making processes.
He gives senior lectures in Universities in Paris (Paristech (Ecole des Mines de Paris), la Sorbonne, Agro-Paristech) and in Africa on Corporate Social Responsibility and mining projects’ development. Pascal is also the CEO of the international consulting firm Insuco, which work on social sustainability of mining projects in 75 countries, for major and junior companies, governments, and funders.
