Lhou Maacha EVP Exploration and Generation Projects of Managem Group

Lhou Maacha is presently EVP Exploration and Generation Projects of Managem Group, General Manager of MANACI in Cote d’Ivoire, Managing Director of Sagax Geophysic and Board member of Lamikal in DRC, Manub in Sudan, SMM in Guinea Conackry and RGG in Gabon. He held Senior Executive position with mining companies listed in TSX and Casablanca Stock Exchange.

He has 34 years diverse experience in Operations, Exploration and development, Projects Management, Economic Geology, Assets Valuation, Modelling and Resources and Reserves Estimation, Open Pit and Underground Production. He is the member of the Technical committee of Managem and subsidiaries and The Reserves and Resources Committee of the Board.

He is an engineer graduate from ENIM (Ecole Nationale de l’Ingénierie Minière) in Geology in 1989, get DEA (diplome des études approfondies) in Structural, PhD in Metallogeny and Geophysic in Cadi Ayad University at 1994-2013, and General Monument Program Certificate from ESSEC.

Lhou has authored and co-authored technical and academic articles and books and given numerous plenary conferences on economic geology, mining development, and best practices in Mineral Industry. He is a reviewer of several geoscientific journal and VP of the ASM (Geologists Association of Morocco).
